Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 3: Gabe Rosado backs Fury to stop Wilder again
Rosado, the big winner last weekend, believes the Briton holds the American’s number.
The latest fighter to rule out a Deontay Wilder victory over Tyson Fury on July 24 is Gabe Rosado.
Fresh off his stunning knockout win over Bektemir Melikuziev last weekend, the Philadelphia veteran was the special guest on the DAZN Boxing Show where he was toasted by Ak and Barak in the impending title clash of heavyweights WBC.
Fury faces Wilder for the third time after spending much of the year in two-way negotiations with representatives for Anthony Joshua in pursuit of a unification match with his domestic rival.
An independent referee has ruled Wilder is entitled to a rematch with Fury following their 2020 fixture which was emphatically won by the Briton. Rosado expects the trilogy encounter to unfold in a similar fashion.
“I love Wilder, but I think Fury has his number,” Rosado said. “You know, I think he’s in his head. You know, and I think that would be another devastating knockout, man. know, I think he could stop Wilder again.
“I think Wilder is going into the fight with the wrong energy, I say he was silent at the press conference. I think he just needs to focus if he really wants to get this victory.
“Stop doing all this speculation. If you think it happened, and it happened, and it happened, and it’s like, you know, it’s kinda crazy.”
