Tyson Fury card against Deontay Wilder takes shape as many heavyweights prepare to fight
A number of intriguing clashes are apparently planned for the massive Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder show.
The highly anticipated fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, their third meeting, should be a successful event. While the eyes of the world are on the main event, a number of intriguing contests have apparently been staged for the undercard.
Boxing scene reported that Adam Kownacki and Robert Helenius will face off in a rematch of their eventful 2020 encounter. In front of a packed crowd in Brooklyn, Helenius shocked the New York-based Pole in four rounds to cause one of the upheavals in the year.
Kownacki has long been identified as a legitimate heavyweight contender and his popularity among the Polish community on the east coast of the United States has seen those who manage his career support him overwhelmingly. His setback against Helenius came out of nowhere, so Kownacki will aim to set the record straight.
Another intriguing heavyweight battle sees undefeated pair, Frankie Sanchez and Efe Ajagba, face off in a fight that will cement the winner as a serious heavyweight threat. Both men have been flawless since making their pro bows, but now it becomes the toughest test of their respective careers.
Jared Anderson, a heavyweight prospect with Top Rank, is also set to kick in, but his opponent has yet to be confirmed.
