Mike Tyson’s Next Boxing Opponent Teased By Michael Franzese
Mike Tyson set to make a sensational comeback in the square circle against another boxing legend Lennox lewis, according to Michael Franzese.
Former New York gangster Franzese sat down with Tyson and hinted that Iron Mike’s next opponent would be his old rival, according to MainlySports.
The 70-year-old American, who was a former Colombo criminal family capo, suggested the Tyson v Lewis clash could take place in December.
Speaking on his Podcast Sit down, Franzese said: “He’s going to fight again in December. Lennox Lewis, and I can tell you he’s in great shape.
Tyson then revealed that he would like to fight British superstars Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury after Lewis’ bout.
“I just want to have the exposure on Lennox Lewis and probably my next one will be with Joshua or Tyson,” he added.
Tyson rebounded with a first-round demolition victory over Clifford Etienne in 2003, but Iron Mike would go on to suffer back-to-back losses to Danny Williams and McBride.
“I want [Evander] Holyfield and I want Lennox Lewis this year, ”Tyson said.
“I want both, I want to have them both this year. I also want to box a show with Tyson Fury.
“If I do this, even though I can make these two guys [Lewis and Holyfield], I’ll say, ‘It’s a wrap, I’m just going to live my life.’
“And these are just exhibitions. I will beat all my real professional records with exhibitions.
