Laurice Joyce Jones Wofford, 78, of Quincy, Illinois, died at 5:24 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
The funeral might be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 10, 2021 on the Tabernacle of Reward Church in Hannibal, MO. Pastor Kevin Williams will officiate.
Interment might be held at Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy, IL.
Family and friends are invited to the celebration of Laurice’s life throughout a visitation that may happen from 5:00 p.m. to eight:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 on the James O’Donnell Funeral Dwelling in Hannibal, MO.
Laurice was born on March 22, 1943 in Quincy, IL to Lawrence Jones and Carlene Homosexual Jones.
She was beforehand married to James E. Wofford, Sr. on March 9, 1967. He survives.
Additionally survived 4 youngsters: Donna R. Williams (Kevin) of Hannibal, MO, John C. Osborne, Jr. (Feleicia) of Hannibal, MO, James E. Wofford, Jr. (Tosha) of Quincy, IL, and Bobby L Wofford of Hannibal, MO; 6 brothers: Timmy Ross of Davenport, IA, Johnny Ross of Wichita, KS, Lonnie Jones (Sheila) of Quincy, IL, Louie Jones of Quincy, IL, Joseph Jones (Jane) of Vallejo, Calif., And Lawrence Jones, Jr. (Claudia) from Saratoga, California; 7 sisters: Sandra Terral from Rockford, IL, Patricia Williams (Dwight) from Clinton Township, MI, Ilene Inexperienced (Herb) from Clinton Township, MI, Marieas Hale of Bay Minette, AL, Crystal Baskin of Mount Clemens, MI, Melody Irwin from Joliet, IL and Hilary Robbinson from Joliet, IL; 29 grandchildren; a bunch of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Laurice was predeceased by her mother and father; 3 sisters: Lisa Jones, Trina Jones and Roslin Spiers; 1 brother, Tommy Ross; and a pair of grandsons, Ka Dorian and Dominic.
Professionally, Laurice has been a cardiology technician for a few years. She retired from DePaul College Hospital in St. Louis.
Laurice liked her household. She particularly loved speaking about her grandchildren and spending time collectively at any time when she may. Journeys to go to household, solitaire video games and baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals have been amongst Laurice’s favorites. Most of all, Laurice cherished her household and she or he all the time seems to be ahead to the moments they might share collectively.
Laurice attended the Embassy Christian Middle in Hannibal, MO.
The bearers might be Kevin JD Williams II, Randy Holder, Sr., Calvin Smith, Terry Burton, Ryan Hill and Randy Holder, Jr.
